SynergyVeterinary Center

Partners in Compassionate Care for Every Stage of Your Pet’s Life

Founded by Dr. Cherie Knox, Synergy Veterinary Center was built to offer a warmer, fear free approach to care in a newly restored Heritage building in Lindsay, ON. Driven by a close-knit team dedicated to gentle, low-stress pet care, our clinic is thoughtfully designed to make both pets, and their families, feel welcome and supported.

Our Promise to You

We know that trust is a very important part of the care we provide, and we want to make a promise. We promise to listen before we speak, explain fully before we recommend, and provide support as a partner on your pet’s health care team. We promise to treat your pet as if they were our own, from your first visit through every stage of your pet’s life. We believe that by truly working together we can provide exceptional patient care. That’s our “Synergy.”

Veterinary Services Rooted in Prevention and Partnership

Providing comprehensive preventive, medical and surgical care for your pet throughout every life stage.

Preventive and Life Stage Care

Preventive care is so important for a long and healthy life, and our patient visits are tailored to your pet’s age, lifestyle, and individual risk factors—because a one-size-fits-all approach rarely fits anyone well. From puppy and kitten visits through to senior care, we’re with you at every stage.

Pet Dentistry & Oral Surgery

Oral health has a significant impact on your pet’s overall health and comfort, and to make sure our care is exceptional, our team has pursued advanced training in dentistry and oral surgery. We also have ready access to specialists to help us provide the best care possible.

Pet Surgery

We’re one of the few clinics in Ontario with a ventilator-supported anaesthesia machine, helping us perform soft tissue and orthopedic procedures with exceptional care, precision, and attentiveness.

Pet Rehabilitation & Pain Management

Rehabilitation helps pets recover from injury, manage pain, maintain mobility and strength. Our program is led by a licensed kinesiologist pursuing advanced credentialing in veterinary physical therapy, and our facility is on track for full rehabilitation accreditation.

Providing Exceptional Care, Preserving Our History and Serving Kawartha Lakes

  • A Fear Free Experience in Lindsay, ON
Every member of our team is individually Fear Free certified, and we’re actively pursuing full practice certification. Fear Free techniques reduce stress, fear, and anxiety for your pet before, during, and after every visit. For many pets, and the people who love them, this changes everything and allows us to care not only for your pet’s physical health, but their mental health and wellbeing as well.
  • A Tight-Knit Team of Established Colleagues
Every member of our team has worked with Dr. Knox before—and chose to build this clinic alongside her. That’s not something you find everywhere. It means our culture of respect, communication, and continuous improvement isn’t something we’re working toward. It’s something we started with.
  • Deep Roots in the Lindsay Community
Our building is a heritage-designated site that has been part of Lindsay history for over 150 years! We are proud to be restoring it and helping it become an important part of the community once again. And it’s not just the building. Dr. Knox has lived in this neighbourhood for over 15 years, raised her family here, and built this clinic with help from friends, family, and contractors that she’s known for years. Synergy Veterinary Center isn’t a corporate chain that landed in Lindsay. We’re your neighbours, part of Lindsay history — and this clinic is ours together.
  • Committed to American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Accreditation
AAHA accreditation means voluntarily holding ourselves to rigorous standards of veterinary care, patient safety, client service, hospital operations, and team wellbeing, with regular evaluation to ensure we continue to meet those standards. For us, it is not about having a designation on the wall; it is about creating a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. We wanted to build Synergy with the highest standards we could find, right from the start, so our clients can feel confident knowing that every detail of their pet’s care has been thoughtfully considered.
